Please find below some links to Google Maps to addresses that might be useful around the campus (where to find food, to find medicine, to withdraw money).
- Mensa Studentsky Dum (student's canteen from the University of Technology, you can eat there)
- Billa (supermarket)
- Galaxy food store (supermarket)
- Cafe Prostoru (to have coffee and eat - directly at NTK)
- Kolonial (mini food store)
- Coffee Crepe Bistro Truck (to get coffee and food - only in spring and summer times)
- Pharmacy Dr. Max (if you need to buy medicine or health products)
- Pharmacy Na Santince (if you need to buy medicine or health products)
- Rossmann (to buy household and body care products)
- ATM Komercni Banka (to withdraw money)
- ATM inside NTK (to withdraw money)
- Post office
This list includes places that are directly on campus, around NTK. Of course if you travel further in the area, especially around Vitezne Namesti, you will find plenty of other options.
Other useful information:
- You can usually buy SIM card (and top up the credit) in the shops of metro stations, in shops called "Tabak", and in some shops called "Potraviny" (where you can also buy food). The most common SIM card is from Vodafone (you will see the advertising for it).
- You can buy a three month transportation pass at some metro stations, for example at the stations Hradcanska, Mustek, Florenc, or Hlavni Nadrazi (main train station). The nearest to the library is the station Hradcanska. You need to provide an ID picture to get it.
